Will playing brain games such as Lumosity increase my intelligence and studying capabilities?

It is unlikely. Scientists of the world have already spoken against Lumosity and other similar brain games, claiming that they do not actually train your brains (and even if they did, you would have to play them for hours, every single day throughout a rather long period of time). Actually, it is you who can give the best answer to your own question. Just launch Lumosity and look at what the game states: “Analysis of our database shows that just 10-15 minutes of Lumosity training per day can lead to improvements in Lumosity over time.” Have you noticed that the games says, “improvements in Lumosity?” Not in your studying or overall cognitive capabilities, but just in the game. This is probably the best answer you your question.
